Create a Glass Panel – Evening class
In this class you will produce a glass panel.
Bring a picture that you want to work from.
Using off cuts of coloured glass frits and noodles, you place you panel over your picture then using the glass pieces you have cut out, you copy the picture. A little like tracing the picture through glass. I’ll show you techniques in cutting glass to fit the picture and then using glue to hold them in place until the panel is complete and ready to be fired in the kiln.
This course runs on evenings over 4 consecutive weeks.

The glass is then fired and ready to collect or can be posted on to you.
Evening Class over two consecutive weeks: 7pm – 9pm
Dates: 8th June – 15th June

Dates: 21st June & 28th June
Glass Foiling class over three days
You will learn how to design a pattern, how to cut and shape the glass, smooth edges and prepare it for copper foiling. We will discuss the process of copper foiling and how this is applied to the glass. The final stage is soldering the pieces together.
Includes Tea / Coffee & Biscuits
Time: Evenings over three consecutive weeks 7pm – 9pm
Dates: 11th May / 18th May / 25th May
